The last reason that school boards should not enforce uniforms is because they eliminate children’s freedom of expression. “A child loves to express their feelings, loves and dislikes through clothing they were […] uniforms will take this form of expression.” (Sirpus 1) School uniforms could also be a way to eliminate diversity in clothing. Some people could see “standard dress as another way for public educators to remove student individuality were they should be embracing it” (Gallup 1) Students may think that their personality is lost with school uniforms.
